We are a Professional Training & Development Firm, a privately owned LLC, that designs and delivers training solutions for organizations worldwide. We are not a membership-based association — we’re a professional team dedicated to improving workplace performance one solution at a time.  

We call ourselves an “association” because we bring together global expertise, industry best practices, and collaborative partnerships to advance training excellence and knowledge management worldwide.

The Global Training Association (The GTA) was founded in response to a clear and growing challenge: today's workforce is evolving faster than traditional training methods can keep up.

Across industries and borders, organizations are struggling to equip their teams with the skills, mindsets, and adaptability required to succeed in an increasingly complex, digital, and globalized world. Many training solutions fall short—offering theory without application, content without context, and instruction without lasting measurable impact.

That’s the gap we’re here to close.

Jakaria Ross—Founder, CEO, and Chief Learning Officer—brings nearly a decade of experience in adult learning, instructional design, and people development. With a background in Mass Communication and Media Studies and a deep understanding of how people learn, Jakaria has worked across sectors to identify the universal pain points of today’s workforce:

  1. Training that doesn’t stick

  2. Talent pipelines that lack agility

  3. Equity gaps in access to professional development

  4. Disconnected learning experiences that don’t align with real business needs

Her cross-industry insight allows her to create flexible, relevant, and research-driven learning experiences that work across contexts while meeting the specific needs of each organization. Now pursuing a doctorate in Global Business and Leadership, Jakaria integrates cutting-edge methods—from neuroscience to innovation frameworks—to drive measurable performance outcomes. Her mission is rooted in one core belief:
